I hear you! I know the frustration of researching all the options for websites, ecourse platforms, online team management tools, trying to figure out how to set up sales funnels. Then comes the worrying that you might need to put your little ones into full time childcare and go back to corporate life because you’re spending too much time figuring stuff out and not enough time earning money by servicing clients. And you don’t know who to hire to help you make sense of it all or have the time or money to waste trying to find the right person. Sound familiar?

Hi, I’m Jasmine. I’m a digital strategist and technology coach. I work with women in business to develop a holistic digital business strategy so that they reach more customers more efficiently, with less stress, while retaining a personal customer experience. I specialise in strategies based on content marketing, information products and ecourses. My main clients are female infopreneurs, heart-centred entrepreneurs, consultants, coaches, creatives and wellness professionals.

 

For over a decade, I’ve been a successful IT training and communications consultant. My qualifications and experience cover the whole tech user adoption process from Business Analysis and uncovering user requirements, through the writing and editing of training materials, to delivering training in person and via webinars and online help systems, as well as supporting users in the field with second-level helpdesk. I’ve also spent time in the technical and vocational training system, managing student records, exams, and giving course information.

My career was very fulfilling and allowed me to help people feel confident with using technology to do their jobs. When I took maternity leave for my first child in 2012, I began to wonder if it was possible to continue helping people in a way that allowed me to focus on my family first. Before I knew it, I found myself redundant on the day before I was due to return to work: It was time to stop wondering if it was possible, and start making it so.

At first, I used my skills to build websites and work on ebooks for consultants and small businesses. It was fun, but I had more fun coaching them through the process of working out what online tools would best serve their business needs, and help them to better serve their customers, than designing and building the actual websites. After years of developing training materials and intranet content that was super useful, I wanted to infuse websites with the same level of purpose and usefulness.

Websites aren’t just for looking pretty, they have to do stuff.

So I decided to take a step back from building websites and instead guide others through choosing and using technology to support their business. The process begins with translating business goals into technology requirements. We then map out the requirements to solutions and choose what’s the best fit for you as an individual. This results in a clear “big picture” view of your online business, a strategy for using technology to deliver real business value.  Among other things, this strategy will inform how you write your brief for your web designer, and identify what you do and don’t need your website to do. Or if you prefer to DIY (or work with a virtual assistant), my action planning and support resources will help you to get things right the first time with much less stress.

It makes me sad to see so many amazing female entrepreneurs get stuck on choosing between WordPress and Squarespace, and not moving forward with their online business!
